The Axygen Tube Pcr 12strip PCR detection tube contains a blue exisol sample inside a pink round tube. The pink round tube is short for Polymerase Chain Reaction tube which means that enzymes used in the reaction will color the reaction tube blue. When the tube is thoroughly incubated, a slight current from the tube will flow through the tube and a color change will occur. The color change is rapid and usually indicates that the original sample inoculation needs to be reinitiated. The tube cap should always be retained with the cap on. These tubes are supplied with color-coded labels. The round shape and long tail of the tube ensures optical clarity and easy sample retrieval. Each tube contains one blue and one red exosome tube. The tube caps are plastic to protect and prolong sample integrity.
