The Barnes Expander MZ Muzzleloader Bullets w/ Sabot - 54 Black Powder is a low drag, bonded soft lead projectile that mushrooms or expands upon impact with great accuracy. The construction ensures that the projectile will not fragment on impact. The energy generated by the Expander's double expansion is typically four times greater than that of a non-expanded projectile. This provides great penetration and energy retention at all velocities. On impact, the Expanvier MZ Muzzleloader Bullets w/ Sabot & O-Rings delivers more energy and a greater wound energy than a lead-core bullet of similar weight and speed. The Expanvier MZ of bullets expand on impact to twice their original diameter, creating a razor sharp copper petals that will cut large game with no fragmentation. The relatively slow expansion rate and high kinetic energy of the Barnes Expander MZ Muzzleloader Bullets with Sabot and O-Rings reduce recoil and spin delivering greater downrange accuracy.
