The Barnes Original Rifle Bullets were the first bullets produced by pressure-formed copper tubing around a solid lead core. Because of the design this bullet is extremely reliable and was the first custom bullet that American hand loaders could purchase. These are not for reloading but are live ammunition. When the Barnes Original Rifle Bullets impact their target they usually expand over 200 percent of the original diameter while retaining up to 90 percent of their initial weight.
