The three component disks are manufactured with a unique process that eliminates chitin, can produce a pure disk without a break band and is highly resistant to varying manufacturing methods. The two-color Phalloidin-Codonate discs (for qualitative susceptibility testing and reference disks for reference) are color coded with a visible ring around the active ingredient. The Phalloidin-Codone disks (for qualitative susceptibility testing) are manufactured with a unique disc antidote technology that produces a round, opaque, semi-moist surface that is easier to read than conventional discs. The discs are manufactured with a BD Colony Former that provides a more consistent plate.
