The BD AutoClip is placed on a special EZ Closure strip, which is positioned between the skin and the wound margin. The stainless steel clip remover slides easily between the clips to release the spring-loaded closures. Clips can be left in place until healing is complete; then, simply slide the stainless steel clip remover through the hole to release the clips. The wound closure system provides maximum holding force with minimum tissue trauma.
