Designed for the recovery of fastidious microorganisms from samples and clinical specimens, these media are excellent for recognizing and identifying fastidious microorganisms in urine, fecal specimens, and swab specimens. The BD Stacker-I is compact and easy to handle, and it has wells that are set at an angle to allow correct plate spreading. These sterile media are provided in a wide variety of formulations, including a combination of blood agar and nutrient agar.
