This VDRL Test aconsists of two antisera, anti-Salmonella b antiserum (b to var.) and control serum (var.) prepared as described in the manual of slide agglutination tests. The control serum in the a serum pack is vibrio cholerae (var.) preparation containing a large amount of pigmented red blood cells (hemocytes) and a normal human AB serum (hemocytes). Control sera are recommended for use in diagnostic procedures in which the specific antisera is required to produce a positive result. The Diagnostic Tests VDRL slide agglutination sets consist of two plates of microbial antisera and one plate of patient antisera. The Diagnostic Tests VDRL Tests are suitable for use in clinical laboratories. The Diagnostic Tests are supplied with a Certificate of Analysis which confirms the organisms used.
