Translucent inserts allow visualization of live cells by light microscopy and are ideal for transport studies, cell migration, and invasion experiments. Transparent membranes isolate and differentiate polar cell populations of interest. Corning Falcon Cell Culture Inserts allow live cells to be seeded throughout the insert, preventing damage to the fragile cell surface. Translucent membranes are most often used for transport studies. Corning Falcon Cell Culture Inserts can also be used for isolation of non-invasive human feeder cells.
