The BD Diagnostics GasPak EZ Container Incubation Chamber for 15- to 18- mL tubes is an easy-to-use, turn-key incubation chamber system. The BD Diagnostics GasPak EZ Incubation Chamber is designed to create one of three different conditions in the lab: anaerobic, microaerophilic, or CO2 enriched. To set up various conditions in the lab, a BD Diagnostics GasPak EZ Container is needed. The BD Diagnostics GasPak EZ Incubation Chamber w/ Latch is easy to use; just open the easy-close latch, insert the sachet, and then place the lid on the container and shake for one to three minutes. The sachet will produce anaerobic conditions in as little as five minutes. To speed up the culture process, the sachet is placed in the incubation container along with one or more of the three different incubation mediums--the BD Diagnostics EZ Container anaerobic medium, and carbon dioxide-enriched medium in the control medium. The control medium is typically used as the media for agar plates and microbiology applications. Compared to most incubation chambers, the BD Diagnostics GasPak EZ Incubation Chamber w/ Lock assures a consistent environment for a variety of sensitive procedures without the need for expensive and time-consuming cultivation techniques.
