These single-tube centrifuges have a swing-out handle so the rotor can be removed for cleaning. The handle lays completely flat on the work surface so the rotor can be placed on a clean benchtop or perform routine centrifuge operations such as pelleting, sifting, and pelleting in the clear tubes. The swing-out handle converts the horizontal centrifuge to a vertical centrifuge, without moving the bowl, so samples can be collected and transported without concern for breakage. The high-grade stainless steel housing and rotor ensure high reliability and a long service life. The head is fitted with two rotors arranged in a Z-groove pattern for increased efficiency and even wear distribution. The low-noise operation and all-metal drive system provide a durable and reliable platform for processing your centrifuge samples. Batches can be performed with either the rotors from the top or bottom row, or the two rotors can be used in any convenient configuration, such as a two-rotor configuration with an insulated handle. Following the Head rotor, the tubing can be rotored in any direction. Following the Head rotor, the tubing can be woven into the basket in a variety of designs. The unique rotor-and-stacking pattern ensures a tight-fitting seal, minimizing breakage. After completion of filling, simply seal the tubes, and heat by applying a little water. Note: Not for use with the Fast Strainer tube.
