Manufactured to SSAT specifications, the BD Falcon IVF 4-well plate, tissue culture treated with lid, 1.39 cm2 surface area, and 1.8 mL well volume is ideal for in vitro fertilization procedures. The Falcon IVF 4 Well Plate is sterile, non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic and is supplied 100 per case. Designed for manual harvesting, this method eliminates the need for mechanical harvesting devices and reduces the chance of animal cross contamination. The BD Falcon IVF 4 Well Plate is designed for use in a water bath. To initiate the mating process, place an inactivated primer into the well, then place an inactivated primer into the well. Gentamicin will react with the inactivated primer to initiate a binding reaction, crosslinking or indifferent labeling. The wells may also be used for in situ cloning.
