Corning Primaria Treated Labware provides an alternative to treated tissue culture treated surfaces. The permanent, stable modification of the polystyrene surface incorporates a mixture of anionic and cationic functional groups. These groups repel each other, and growth of negatively charged cells (neutrophils and endothelial cells) can be enhanced. These BD Labware are gamma-irradiated and pyrogen-free. Many types of cells that are sensitive to serum and cytokines can be cultured and expanded on Corning Primaria Labware. These labware are intended for use with feeder-conditioned media and plated cells/tissues that require adherent culture media or feeder-conditioned media. Corning Primaria 6 Well Multiwell Test Plates are used for most basic cell growth including endothelial cells, neuronal cells, and hepatocytes.
