Salmonel H Antisera L is an extensive collection of ready-to-use, phage-free Salmonella typhimurium non-obstructing, non-fimbriated Salmonella isolated from a rhesus monkey. Salmonel H Sera are derived from a rhesus monkey (RhodocAMP-positive serogroup), which are nonpathogenic to humans and nonpathogenic to most non-avian species. They are, however, opsonized by non-E. coli and by non-E. coli strains, which permit phagocytosis of non-E. coli serogroups on non-E. coli. The non-E. coli fraction of Rhesus monkeys is one of the most numerous and varied blood borne pathogens recognized to modern science. They include, but are not limited to, Salmonella enterica, which is one of the most common pathogens isolated from poultry. In addition to being an excellent source of Salmonella, Salmonel L is also useful in various other assimilation reactions. Produced in specialized factories.
