Designed for use with Luer slip tip, one or two syringes can be used to draw and dispense drugs. Syringes with Luer-Lok tip can be used to draw and dispense drugs. Syringes with Slip tip can be used to draw and deliver drugs. The BD Luer-Lok tip reduces needle stick injury. All BD Luer-Lok tips incorporate a red, silicone rubber slip tip to enable clinicians to draw and dispense drugs without accidentally removing the tip. The majority of BD syringes have a BD tiny Luer-Lok tip. Safety needles are pre-installed and can be pulled with a single motion. Most have a few or no pre-installed.
