These Disposal Bags from Bel-Art are high temperature autoclavable at a maximum of 135C (275F) and are plain, non-printed and include an indicator patch. The Disposal Bags from Bel-Art meet or exceed the ASTM 1709 Dart Impact and ASTM 1922 Tear Resistance Tests. When autoclaving, place the bag into a sterile claving chamber (clave) and follow manufacturer guidelines for proper sterilization temperature and sterilization method. After sterilization, place the bag into a commercially insulated triangular drum or container, such as a Luer-Lok or Snap-Lok container, and then into an insulated truck bed. After use, place the container on a clean surface to allow the bag to absorb the sterilization process. After sterilization, pour the contents of the drum into the biohazard disposal kit, allowing the bags to infiltrate the entire culture system. After thuring, let the Biohazard waste sit in the cooling pond until sanitized and sanitized. Labeled "biohazard" with an "i" on either side of the bag warn employees and the general public that the contents of the hood are considered hazardous and should not be handled until thoroughly sanitized.
