These lab grinding mills by Bel-Art Corp. utilize a stainless steel or hard-faced blade rotates at speeds up to 12,000rpm to successfully grind bauxite, bone, ceramics, coal, Devordas alloy, fertilizer, filter paper, fly ash, frozen tissue, grains, kaolinites, leaves, limestone, pharmaceuticals, pigment blends, pulverize a wide variety of samples including rocks, teeth, plastics, paper, flowers, sewage sludge, roots, sand, tree, wood and much more. To ensure safety and prevent sample loss, the grinder operates only when the cover is latched in place.
