Bel-Art Octagon 3 x 1/2 YEL. Spinbar 371095032 is a Bel-Art Continuous magnetic stirring bars with a dodecagon, are molded of neoprene rubber, have a molded-in pivot ring, and fit between standard magnetic stirring rods without a need for snapping, ratcheting, or clacking. When the force of the magnets is released, the octagon shape maintains its shape without the need for forming, repositioning, or reheating. The length and diameter are stamped, not stamped out like a typical octagon magnetic stirring bar. When a stirring rod is extended above and below the rim of a vessel, the octagon retains its shape and can be picked up and used without concern for rotation. Bel-Art's patented electromotivtic stripe is an integral part of all Octagon stirring bars. The octagon retains the shape when doubling the length of the bar.
