Tamper Evident PTFE Pipet Rinsers PTFE contains no clog metal pipet tips. Protect your glassware investment with a sanitary, leakproof, polyethylene pipet rinser that meets all EPA standards. This pipet rinser has a PTFE tip that is less brittle than PTFE and will tolerate more acids, alkalis, and most common cleaning solutions. Clear, heavy-walled, double walled, taper ridged, easy to fill, easy to clean pipets baskets will withstand most acids, alkalis, and most solvents. They are supplied with a 30.5 cm (12) long piece of 2.5 cm (1) I.D. drain tubing, and a 1.5 m (5') long piece of 12.5 mm () I.D. flexible water inlet tubing. A quick-release, ethylene rubber bumper and leak-proof gasket keeps the basket and pipets from contacting the tip and causing damage. The tip disk, located on the inside bottom surface, cushions the tips of the pipets and reduces their tendency to clog with fines. The handle of the plastic pipet basket has cut-outs that provide comfortable vertical grips. The bottom of the plastic pipet basket has a series of molded depressions which serve as a molded support system for the basket and a rounded "handle" for use with tweezers. The pipet baskets are leakproof, autoclaveable, and will withstand all common cleaning solutions at room temperature, including sulfuric acid/dichromate.
