In some cases, a specialized device is needed for the filling and/or evacuation of liquids or gases. Bel-Art Riteflow Panel/Bench Mounted Flowmeters provides the needed flow data without the need for hoses, clamps, gauges or electricity. Flowmeters are useful in indicating flow rates in pumping systems, indicating carrier gases in chromatography, indicating flow rates in gaseous and liquid transfer operations, and for a wide range of other flow measurement applications. These flowmeters are designed with an anodized aluminum mounting frame with Teflon fittings or aluminum fittings and a large magnifying window that allows for easy reading. A "T" joint on the flowtube and a dual purpose clamp with O-ring give these flowmeters a stable benchtop or panel mountable position. Flowmeters with Teflon fittings are ideal for high chemical resistance and purity when working with corrosive materials, while flowmeters with aluminum fittings have hose barbs that accept 8 mm (5/16") to 1 cm (3/8") I.D. tubing. Flowmeters with aluminum fittings have hose barbs that accept 8 mm (5/16") to 1 cm (3/8") I.D. tubing.
