Need to know the flow rate of your tubes and fluid baths? The white Roto-Flo Flow Indicators, SCIENCEWARE H199370003 are the visual indicators you need. The color indicating paddle makes it easy to determine the direction of flow in your water or gas flow tubing. Clear smoke-clear paddles are easy to see against most colored backgrounds. The indicators rely on a glow-in-the-dark sensor mounted between the sensor and the flow tube. A drop of fluid, such as water, breaks the motion of the sensor, causing the blue-gray liquid to change from orange to red. This is normal and does not pose a threat to the rotor. The only way to prevent the change in color is to turn the flow-tracking device off.
