The Spinbar Magnetic Stirring Bar Retriever has a Teflon-coated, Alnico Teflon magnet which fits into a flexible Teflon tube. Teflon coating of the retrieving rod protects the Bel-Art Spinbar Magnetic Stirring Bar Retriever from chemicals. There is a heavy duty hex bolt on the bottom of the retriever which will prevent it from slipping when retrieving the Spinbar. There is also an enlarged handle for easy retrieval. The Spinbar Teflon Retriever is highly useful in grabbing a magnetic stirring bar which has dropped down into a bin or down the drain.
