Modeled after break-resistant DOT-style bottles, this Bel-Art Safety Wash Bottles, Low-Density Polyethylene, Wide Mouth 116462620 is made of heavy-duty, chemical-resistant LDPE. Closures of these Low-Density Polyethylene Dispensing Bottles from Bel-Art are chemical-resistant for use with water, ethanol, isopropanol, methanol, dichloromethane, and sodium hypochlorite. In addition to meeting OSHA requirements, these Bel-Art DOT-approved Wash Bottles also include National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and symbols, protective equipment symbols, a list of solvents by CAS number, NFPA target organ information, and color-coded nozzle assemblies. Also featured in this Bel-Art Safety Wash Bottle variety pack are break-resistant bottles with extensive hazard warnings and instructions printed on the bottle label. In this case, wider-mouth bottles must be used for the application of the chemical in a different face area e.g. on a contaminated surface. Wash bottles with narrow mouths are not leakproof and should be capped or sealed when not in use.
