Bel-Art Water Conditioner AQUA-CLEAR 170930000 is a conditioner that conditions and protects water baths and other water systems against the growth of algae, bacteria, molds and biofilms. It protects pumps and thermostats and helps prevent tubing from clogging. Just 2 mL per liter of water adds a blue tint which will fade after about 3 months reminding you to change the water and add new conditioner. Furthermore, this Laboratory Cleaning Supplies from Bel-Art does not contain any substance listed by California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65). In addition, this Bel-Art Water Conditioner contains no chromic acid, chlorine, brominated quaternary ammonium compounds or iodine. To use, simply add 2 mL to 3 liters of water. After the water dries, the dye will turn pink or blue.
