Berger Hunting 7mm 180 Grain Secant Very Low Drag 100 Bullets 60-28502 Gun Type: Rifle, 14% Off w/ Free Shipping

For hunters who must load their own, Berger 7mm 180 gr VLD Hunting bullets are a must addition for their reloading gear. Compared to some other brands, these Berger bullets shoot flatter, faster, and farther. That's because Berger VLD Hunting Bullets share their design with VLD Target bullets. The major difference, though, is the hunting bullets have a thinner jacket to ensure rapid expansion upon impact.

The Berger VLD Hunting 7mm, or .284 caliber, bullets feature an aggressive ogive shape for reduced drag. This Secant Ogive results in flat shooting and little wind drift. Plus, they are constructed using a J4 Precision jacket, which is designed to penetrate a couple inches before expanding and barreling through another foot or so. This design creates a massive wound cavity and causes instant death for most game. Other features include a consistent core for equal weight distribution and a boat tail for smooth and consistent flight. Find these Berger Rifle Bullets in quantities of 100 per box. Buy them today!

Features of Berger 7mm 180 gr VLD Hunting :

• Secant Ogive - Berger VLD (Vey Low Drag) Bullets use a Secant Ogive, which is an aggressive ogive shape that provides a reduced drag factor. The Secant Ogive is proven to be the most efficient shape for external ballistic performance, resulting in flatter shooting with less wind drift.
• Consistent Core - Berger's exacting core manufacturing process is one of the reasons when you buy a box of Berger, you don't have to worry about sorting by weight. This gives you more reliable drop, consistent BC, and better accuracy.
• Boat Tail bullets provide an aerodynamic advantage at longer ranges over their flat base counterparts, especially while transitioning from transonic to subsonic velocities.
• J4 Precision Bullet Jackets are the #1 choice of custom bullet manufacturers. They are the most consistent and concentric copper jackets in the world holding an unprecedented +/- .0003 inch tolerance. J4 hunting jackets are produced slightly thinner to allow for 2-3 inches of penetration before rapidly expanding, producing extreme hydrostatic shock and a massive wound cavity.
