I bought this rear panel & recon front w/ 8 mag holders. I also got the side panels but i cant get them to fit correctly. Do the side panels work

Yes, It is compatible with both the Lightweight Commando Recon Chest Harness and the Removable Side Plate Carrier (pair). Attaches to the front and rear of the PALS/MOLLE platform with side release buckles.

The back panel should come as a standard to the vests given. It feels just right carrying it.you can feel the support it brings to the vest. Only real down side to it was the installation of the darn thing. Besides that its good.
