The Blackout Defense billet steel QD endplate is heavy duty. It is machined from a single piece of billet steel - including the QD socket, which is machined into the endplate with no pressfit pieces. In addition, the grooves have built-in rotation limits that restrict the movement of the QD adaptor, which aids in preventing your sling from entangling in your rifle. The final product is then black nitrided for a smooth, black finish.
