The Blitzkrieg Components Gen 2 HK Style Front Sight is a revolutionary approach to this iconic sighting system. It provides a stunning sight picture, rapid & precise aiming and installs in a completely new way. We also brought the sight face forward, toward the shooter, so that is is easier to see and not back in the shadows of the sight hood. The sharp aiming point and eye catching boldness of the chevron combined with the circle-in-circle front/rear sight alignment, gives the shooter a new level of speed and precision in an iron sight. The Orange Stripe model provides a bold, fast sight picture with the bright, contrasting orange chevron stripe. You will love the way this sight looks and how well you shoot with it.

Installation has been completely re-engineered for our Gen 2 HK sight models to eliminate problems like sliding a nicely finished sight through a tight slot or hammering a roll pin through a new sight putting stress on it. Now the roll pin is installed first, then the new sight is installed easily and securely by hand. The roll pin is used as an anti-rotation device. This new design also allows a new level of flexibility. Once initial installation is complete, the shooter has the option of changing reticles by hand in less than a minute. So if you want to change colors or try a new sight model in the future, installation is a snap.

The Luminescent (Glow) Chevron Stripe glows very bright when charged and the glow brightness dissipates gradually in darkness. The brighter and longer the light charge is, the brighter and longer the glow will be. Sunlight and Tactical flashlights give the best charge. Will glow very well after just a few seconds of charge. Typically, in total darkness after being charged for about 5-10 seconds with a tactical flashlight, you can expect it to glow very bright for about 5 minutes, bright for about 20-30 minutes and at a lower level that is visible and useful to dark adjusted eyes for hours. It also works very well when transitioning from bright daylight to indoors, a dark room or shade because it will appear very bright initially and as your eyes adjust to lower light levels, the glow dissipates gradually yet will still appear easy to pick up.
