What is the difference between Grey #1, Grey #2, and Grey #3?
Does Bobster offer a warranty?
What are the different colors of tint used for?
Why should I use Bobster over my regular optician?
What is the difference between Grey #1, Grey #2, and Grey #3?
A: Grey #1 is very light, barely noticeable - there is a jump to grey #2 which is a sunshade that you can still see your eye through and grey #3 is a sunshade that you can not see your eye through.
Does Bobster offer a warranty?
A: Bobster Action Eyewear products are guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects when received from the factory. In the unlikely event that any Bobster Action Eyewear products are found to be defective as a result of original materials or construction, it will be repaired or replaced with the same or similar item of equal value at no charge. Bobster Action Eyewear does not cover transportation shipping charges to and from the factory for warranty repair.
What are the different colors of tint used for?
A: Grey is used for all around use and is available in #1, #2, #3. Grey will not change colors when looking through them. Brown #3 will provide mild contrast and sunshade but it will change the color of things you see. Amber is a high contrast lens designed for low light situations, depth perception enhancement, or a very light amber may be used at night. Yellow is typically used for very high contrast needs such as hunting.
I was interested in getting lenses that change into sunglasses when I go outside. Do you carry them?
A: Yes! Bobster is proud to carry the latest in TRANSITIONS / Photochromic Lenses which are so smart they go from clear indoors to as dark as sunglasses outdoors. Their advanced technology adjusts to changing light, so you see clearly and more comfortably in virtually any light condition. Indoors, TRANSITIONS Lenses are as clear as your regular eyeglasses. Outdoors, they quickly darken, getting as dark as sunglasses if necessary. And TRANSITIONS provide 100% UV protection.
A: Bobster is proud to offer Bifocals! Bobster has several different options available.
Why should I use Bobster over my regular optician?
A: Cutting 8 and 10 base lens to fit in a wrap frame is a very specialized process which requires specialized cutting equipment and knowledge. The possibility for optical distortion is much higher than with regular frames.
