What part of the bog tree pod is anodized the other ones I looked at just had aluminum and said they weigh about 15 pounds were yours is 8 pounds. Why Manufacturer Answer

The base and swing arm assembly are made from steel. The upper shooting rail and supports are made of aluminum. The whole unit weighs 15 pounds.
