The Aluminum weighs in at 1/2 pound while the Stainless Steel is a full pound. Keep this in mind if you plan on using it for extended periods of time. The Stainless Steel is perfect for use in Marine environments where salt water is present!

Also note the Aluminum has an indented grip while the Stainless has a nippled grip. Both are mechanically the same, but the middle barrel and mouth are made of Stainless Steel and Brass threads on the Stainless Steel Model.
