I have a model 11 made in 1948 that needs a stock,I see whare some say type 3, how do I identify what type I need , thanks Expert Answer

From what information I could find the Remington Model 11's that have a serial number below 170000 is a series #1. Model 11's with a serial number 170000-380000 is a series #2 and Model 11's with serial number above 380000 is a series #3. These serial number ranges only apply to 12 gauge models of the Remington Model 11.
