Strong, general-purpose forceps, suited for a broad range of industrial, research, and petrochemical applications. Manufactured without the need for welding or soldering, the forceps' twisted wires break readily when subjected to the hazards of autoclaving. The forceps' head is molded of a non-toxic, vinyl-modified polyethylene (a Styrene-Resistant FDA Grade Plastic that is not thermally harmed during autoclaving. The head is twisted to form a double-ring attachment that can be used to grasp a variety of wires, clamps, or prongs. A double-molded, slip-on PTFE grip ensures a secure grip and the set includes a storage case. The forceps are autoclavable, resistant to aldehydes, aliphatic alcohols, ether, aldehydes, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, and ketones, but not recommended for use with ester, acids, or oxidizing agents.
