Product Info for Briley Mobil Ported 12 Gauge Choke
The Briley Black Oxide Mobil Choke extended choke tube is a proven choke tube used with slugs, lead shot, and all other types of projectiles. The choke tube effectively brings the projectile up and out of the powder column with the same degree of velocity retention that the projectile exhibits. The black oxide finish is far less susceptible to wear and abrasion than stainless steel. These choke tube are heat treated and a special oil is used to keep the threads from rattling. When the threads on the choke tubes are twisted the backstrap locks the choke tubes in place to eliminate possible damage to the cylinder and firing pin. Also this choke has a knurled extension and a roll marked tang on the end to denote the end of the choke tube.
