The bare-brad drum is the most basic form of construction and is best described as a light duty extension of your hand. The bare drum is mounted on one side of the ATV winch allowing the rope to turn freely as well as allowing the rider to pull against the rope for maximum benefit. With the addition of a Dynamic Brake the winch becomes even more useful. Also, like most of our products, you'll be able to mount the winch to your ATV using a 2-bolt pattern on center line of drum.
