Product Info for Bulwark Team Jacket, Nomex IIIA
Nomex fabric offers the highest level of flame resistance, while fabric woven into a micro-porous structure provides added protection. Bulwark's trademark dual-layer arc protection is built right into the fabric weave. This inherently fire-resistant material will not melt, drip, or sustain insulation from flames, and will not sustain thermal shock. Double-layer construction provides the ultimate protection against thermal burns and will not melt from low heat sources. Cooling properties are provided by the inherent temperature stability of the fabric. Unlike many other fibers, which become brittle with age, solvents, or contamination, Bulwark's aramid weave actually increases its thermal resistance with age. This results in a lower need for jackets, and a more comfortable garment with less laundering. Articulation at the elbows and knees allow for greater mobility, while the below-knee gussets allow for more freedom of movement. A four-panel back panel with an adjustable collar seals out conduction heat. Side slit gussets at the bottom of the garment permit easy access to work zones or belts. A collar tab provides a clean, streamlined profile. A perfect fit can be achieved through the unique adjustable wrists, gusseted crotch, and sleeves. The front zippered pockets are designed for right side internal battery terminals, and zippered hand pockets. A storm flap in the torso protects against side zippers and cord locks while allowing easy access to the pockets. A radiography pocket is also provided on the left side.
