What is the diameter of the seat and is it sufficiently padded? Expert Answer

Unfortunately, I could not find the exact diameter of the sea. However, I did find suggestions and reviews regarding the padded seat, stating that the seat could use more padding.

This table is Heavy. It works very well but is not the portable I was looking for. Easy set up, yes ensure the seat is over a leg. Shop for nthe more expensive folding table if you are wanting a truly portable table.

Product Info for Caldwell Stable Table Deluxe Shooting Bench

The tripod design of Caldwell Stable Table Deluxe Shooting Bench 252552 is more rigid and has fewer joints than folding-style benches and is appropriate for a wider variety of shooting conditions and disciplines. A bolt in the base of this shooting accessory allows position adjustment of a single leg, aligning the tabletop so that it is parallel with the horizon. The central shaft, seat and tabletop are able to pivot around a center axis as a single unit while keeping the tabletop parallel to the horizon. This allows the user to make shots at any angle from a single setup which is ideal for varmint hunting. Caldwell Stable Table Deluxe Shooting Benches can easily be locked into a single shooting position if desired and the table top is made from molded plastic with a rigid metal under-frame. The top of the Caldwell Shooting Bench Stable Table measures 34in x 23in and it includes holes that function as handles for easy transport or as holders for the included cleaning forks as well as a perimeter rail that keeps ammunition from rolling off the bench top. The padded seat adjusts from 16in to 22in, rotates in tandem with the tabletop and breaks down into seven pieces.image
