This 12 inch Dehumidifier Rod by Cannon Safe Brand is an environment control system for your gun safe. Since climate conditions change inside a gun safe, depending on external surroundings, there's a great possibility the trapped air within can cause damage to your rifles or handguns. The trapped air can drop in temperature and is left without escape or distribution leaving a liquid condensation caused by the increased humidity factor. The Cannon Safe Dehumidifier Rod will heat to a surface temperature of less than 130° F. By keeping your home safe 2-3 degrees warmer than the room's temperature, the Dehumidifier Rod 9000-DRY-ROD will eliminate the possibility of condensation, rust and corrosion of metal parts as well as the mold and mildew which accompanies dampness and humidity.
