Carlson's flush mount choke tubes are manufactured with 17-4 stainless steel to ensure the life of your choke tube. These chokes are ported to produce the optimum pattern with each and every shot. These choke tubes produce extra tight patterns with a variety of steel and lead types. Steel Shot should be used in constrictions not tighter than full in all chokes. Lead Shot should be used in constrictions tighter than half in all chokes. In addition to Steel Shot, Lead & Hevi-Shot may be used in all choke tubes with the exception of #BB which should only be used in constrictions tighter than full.No Steel Shot Larger than #4 may be used in our Turkey Choke Tubes. No Steel Shot Larger than #4 may be used in our Hevi-Shot Choke Tubes. No Steel Shot Larger than #4 or speeds exceeding 1550 fps should be used in choke tubes tighter than full. Lead and Hevi-Shot may be used in all choke tubes with the exception of #BB which is only approved for use in constrictions less than full.
