Carlson's New Extended Waterfowl Choke Tubes are manufactured with a longer parallel section, thus reducing the overall diameter of the choke while maintaining a more 'fish-like' pattern. These choke tubes feature a more "weapon like" action, thus allowing tighter/denser patterns, also works on shotguns with a longer barrel. These choke tubes come with a matte black finish and are manufactured with 17-4 heat treated material. These chokes are backed by Carlson's Lifetime Warranty. These chokes choke fit all models with a barrel that has a 12 gauge full length recoil lug. No outside lug is needed with these chokes, as the recoil lug travels through the choke tube. Lead shot, Copperplated shot, Hevi-Shot, tungsten carbide and even plated tungsten are all suitable. These chokes deliver less recoil and blasting cone than tungsten, thus reducing recoil and muzzle blasting potential. Long Range choke tubes also tend to throw larger and denser patterns than standard choke tubes. Easy to change without changing your choke. Long Range choke tubes also tend to produce less flyers and fewer decoys.
