Product Info for CAS Hanwei Iga Ninja-To 22in. Blade Sword

The Iga (Great Wave) Ninja-To is based on the Kouga Shinden, with many of its features. The blade is forged from high-carbon steel and differentially hardened (60HRc) using a traditional method, much as a Japanese sword would have been. The Tsuka features a traditional wrap over natural rayskin and Clouds and Sun/Water and Moon Menuki. The blackened iron fittings include a Tsuba displaying the Iga Mon and a wave motif, both repeated on the Fuchi/Kashira. The Saya is wrapped with a partial rattan wrap and has a heavily reinforced spike. The Iga Ninja-To is an essential tool for the Ninjutsu practitioner, made by Hanwei.image
