The Celestron Digital & Optical Microscope 44330 allows you to view specimens or objects on a computer screen and take snapshot images or short videos. This microscope by Celestron can be used as a digital microscope with the 2.0MP CMOS Digital Camera attachment. When used as an optical microscope you can take it anywhere using its battery power.
This Celestron Microscope provides high powers from 100x to 400x using it as an optical microscope and much higher powers when used as a digital microscope. The is ideally suited for examining specimen slides of yeasts and molds, cultures, plant and animal parts, fibers, bacteria, etc. You can also examine small and thin objects at the lower powers such as coins, stamps, rocks, insects, circuit boards, various materials, and many other objects. With the included digital camera and the software, you can observe the magnified images or capture video or take snapshots.
