Hi, this item works for CG4 motor drive ? Thank you Expert Answer

Unfortunately this is only compatible with Celestron's Nexstar series telescopes, it will not work on the CG-4 mount, and they do not make a version that will work.

The Celestron Telescope Car Battery Adapter is for use with the CGE Series (supplied standard), Advanced Series, NexStar Series, Celestron Telescope Car Battery Adapter-18769 allows you to power your telescope directly via the car cigarette lighter, or Celestron's PowerTank receptacle.image

Not for use with the basic Celestar 8, C5+, C8+, or Ultima 9/11 telescopes
