Designed for use in boiling liquids, Chemglass Round-Bottom Boiling Flasks, Heavy Wall, CG-1506-89 are recommended for use at a circulating (water) heater or in a water bath having a water-bath bottom. Heavy wall construction provides added durability to these Laboratory Glassware by Chemglass. Borosilicate glass is annealed during glass formation, and all flasks have an acid-resistant yellow enameled steel cap with a red enamel interior. The enameled steel back of the cap melts at the first indication of liquid level or the first indication of oil/water separation. Chemglass Round-Bottom Heavy Wall Boiling Flasks have a spheroid shape with slanted necks and ST outer joints.
