The company's first product, the Chiappa X-Care Shotgun Zero Insert, converts standard shotguns from 12-gauge to 410-gauge. The purpose of the X-Care is to allow a user to shoot 410-gauge shells in a standard shotgun, converting the shotgun into a unique 410-gauge rifle chambered in 12-gauge. The purpose of the X-Care is also to allow the shooter to use standard shotgun shells in their .410-gauge shotguns. The purpose of the gauge insert is to allow the shooter to step up to a 12 gauge shell holder and convert the shotgun to a 410-gauge one. The purpose of the gauge insert is not to make a 45 LC conversion, but to give the shooter the option of trying a 12 ga shell in a 45 LC revolver.
