unlike the OP ad, this is the whole stock and not just the butstock
and this stock is as good as I hoped, the folder is firm and permanent to last
have not yet bedded it but looks like I won't even have to mess with bedding compound

Product Info for Choate Tool 10/22 Folding Stock
The Ruger 10-22 folding stock is lightweight and very compact. When folded they reduce the rifles overall length by 10 inches making it much easier to transport or carry. They are perfect for hiking backpacking, guiding, riding in vehicles or storage in your home. Designed to lock in both the open and closed position, they easily unlock to open with a push of a button. Choate folding stocks are solid when extended and insure a stable shooting platform. The housing and arms are cast out of a high-quality tool steel. Fiberglass filled polymer is then molded over the cast arms and fitted with a 1-inch rubber recoil pad.
