The Choate Tool M-16/AR-15 MagPul Clip Connector was specifically designed to fit Magpul Pmags and will not accommodate metal AR15 magazines.

will this work on 10 round mags

No. Magpul doesn't make 10 round magazines and this only fits GEN3 PMAGS. They'd probably be too short anyway.
