Hi! I know that most Mossberg 500 products can fit a Maverick 88. However, will this item, in particular, fit a Maverick 88 youth? Thanks! Expert Answer

The manufacturer states that this forend is only compatible with the 835, 590, and newer 500 shotguns. I do not believe it will fit the 88. I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer just to confirm.

Our forends only fit the Mossberg shotguns that have the steel tube in the center that the action bars are welded to. If your forend is held to the action bars by pins and there is no steel tube in the center of your forend when it is removed from the action then our forend will not fit your gun.image
