The Choate Tool Magazine Extensions for Remington are machined from steel and do not have dimples that will have to be drilled out with a 3/16 drill bit. This 9 shot extension for Remington shotguns has easy to follow directions and comes with a spring, follower, and clamp. For guns made before about 1987 you might have a 20ga gun made on a 12ga receiver. If your magazine tube will take a 12ga shell then you have one of the older guns that needs the 12 gauge extension.
