The Choate Tool Sks Conventional Recoil Pad is 5 × 1.5 × 1 in. It is a direct replacement (same dimensions) for the butt pad on the SKS Conventional Stock.

Product Info for Choate Tool Sks Conventional Recoil Pad

The Conventional Recoil Pad is the standard choice for most shooters, especially those who live in colder climates. The cold weather normally causes most people to stay indoors, because the cold weather doesn't bother their hearing. This pad is designed for felt recoil, so the shooter doesn't have to put their hand in their pocket or use a hand towel to cover up the felt recoil. One side of the pad says "SKS" and the other says "Shotgun". We do not know the nomenclature for the SKS other than it's NATO designation, so it must be a handgun. The "H" in the pad stands for "handgun". This is the pad you want if you want to shoot a SKS but have a Conventional Stock.image
