Is this Choate Tool T/C G-2 Rifle Forend compatible with first gen frames and rifle barrels?

This forend will NOT fit a first generation frame without removing some material from the forend. It will hit the front of the trigger guard and not allow the action to open. I think it took me about 20 minutes of filing and sanding to get the one I bought to fit my generation 1 frames. Considering the price and availability difference between this forend and specific 1st generation forends, it was worth my while to modify it.
